Each skein is an individual work of art. I am creating hand painted and hand dyed yarns and rovings. My sock yarn line is High Society Sock Yarn because it will make your socks look like a million bucks!!
I finally finished spinning and plying the additional 6 ounces of "Ruby" that I got from FiberMonster. Today's post is the vital statistics and yarn porn.
As I was spinning, plying, and finishing each batt I kept the finished stuff in a ball like the first photograph. I had to keep tabs on it because Jaspurr has become a yarn snob. That which is most precious to me (my own wool handspun) is most coveted by him! When I wasn't looking he would pick the ball up and try to sneak out of the room with it. The giant yarn cake on his head is paybacks!
Wow. Wow. Wow. Almost 700 yards of beautiful yarn spun from spindle! Jaspurr looks so happy with "his" yarn :) Thanks for sharing.
